basswood30.jpg Basswood in bloom.

Our Basswood honey comes from groves of basswood (linden) trees in central Michigan.  This tree, which grows heartily in the midwest, produces yellowish-white blossoms and a nectar that honeybees love.  The honey is light and mild, with a slightly buttery taste.
